Desiccated Coconut is widely used in the Bakery and Confectionery industries to enhance the texture, flavour, aroma of a wide variety of manufactured foodstuffs.

RBD coconut oils are very useful in the kitchen because they have a smoking point of about 450°F (232°C). This makes it preferable for cooking at very high temperatures like frying.
